[ARCHIVED] Partial Fire Ban Effective July 3, 2013

Due to extreme fire danger within Natrona County, the Natrona County Commission has approved Resolution Number 35-13 placing partial fire restrictions in Natrona County.

In part, the resolution placing partial fire closure restrictions on Natrona County requires trash burning be limited to containers with spark arrestors. In addition campfires would be limited to fire rings and restrictions would also be placed on discarding smoking materials. Under the resolution, smoking would be only allowed in vehicles, buildings or areas devoid of flammable materials.

The resolution also bars the use of fireworks, except where a permit is issued, and prohibits slash pile burning on Casper Mountain.
