The Natrona County Master Gardeners are in full swing with preparations for the 2022 Annual Plant Sale to be held May 21st in the Agricultural Resources and Learning Center (ARLC) at 2011 Fairgrounds Road, Casper, WY. Annual vegetables, herbs, perennials and annual flowering plants, landscape plants, trees and shrubs as well as houseplants will also be available.
If local gardeners have plants that have out grown their space in the garden or maybe they no longer meet the vision of the landscape, these plants may be just what someone else is looking for. Rather than tossing them in the trash, please bring them to the Master Gardeners to be included in the Plant Sale. Donations may be brought to the white storage building behind the main building at 2011 Fairgrounds Road, Casper, WY. The Master Gardeners request that you identify the plants. Lack of blossoms makes it very difficult to correctly identify plants.
If you wish to donate to the sale, but are unable to transport the plants, please call the Master Gardener Office at 307-235-9400 extension 30 between 8am and 4:30pm. Please leave your name, address and phone number for the committee. We would welcome anyone with unusual varieties of plants to contact us. This year we hope to offer a variety of tomatoes, peppers and perennial garden plants.
Remember to mark your calendar for May 21st, the Plant Sale will start at 8AM, 2011 Fairgrounds Road. If you have questions or need additional information you can also contact the Chair Zach Shultz at 307-247-2093.
