Firewood is Available at Ponderosa Park

Posted on October 6, 2021 at 1:36 PM by Parks Department

Over 1,200 trees have been cut down in response to the fire that occurred several years ago. These trees are available to be cut into firewood and hauled out.

Ponderosa Park has difficult access and narrow roads. Parks will allow no more than 3 truck and trailer setups in at a time. The schedule will be setup in 2 day blocks until weather prevents safe access. You must sign a liability waiver and schedule with the Parks Department to collect those tress as firewood.  Please visit the Parks Office to get on the schedule and sign waivers for all persons in your work party.
