How to interpret the information on the Notice of Value:
The property values come from validated sales in Natrona County.
If houses are selling quickly for the asking price, the values tend to raise. If houses are sitting on the market and selling lower than the asking price, the values tend to go down.
Currently in the State of Wyoming there is no cap on the amount a property can raise or lower in value over an annual period.
If you have remodeled, added a structure or demolished a structure, the value should reflect a change from the prior year.
If you have any questions about the value, why it changed or if the value has changed significantly without any of the items listed above, please call the Assessor's Office at 307-235-9444. We are here to answer any and all questions our taxpayers have.
