The first two chapters of the updated Zoning Resolution are now ready for public review. These two chapters, Chapter 2: Zone Districts and Chapter 4: Use Standards, constitute Module 1 of the Natrona Next Zoning Resolution Rewrite Process. The zone district chapter includes descriptions of each zone district as well as standards to define minimum lot size, minimum setbacks, maximum building height, and open space requirements for each zone district. The use standards chapter includes mostly new language detailing the current use standards within the County. Many of the added standards are currently required or are common conditions of approval that have been consolidated and reformatted for consistency and clarity.
We will also be hosting a Public Open House on October 21st from 5:30-7:30 PM at the Natrona County Agricultural Resource and Learning Center to answer questions and capture feedback regarding these two draft chapters. Please direct all written comments to firstname.lastname@example.org. Feedback can also be provided online at our project website, located at this link: www.natronacounty-wy.gov/steppingforward.
