The County Clerk issues Wyoming marriage licenses, which can be used anywhere in the state of Wyoming.
These licenses expire one year from the date issued.
Applicants must be at least 18 years of age to obtain a marriage license without court and parental consent.
Applicants who are 16 or 17 must first obtain a court order and written authorization from a guardian, before a license can be issued.
Effective 2023, no person under 16 may marry in Wyoming.
Must provide the following information for the bride and groom:
Photo Identification Date and place of birth Residence address Social Security number Parents’ (mother and father) places of birth Mother’s maiden name If divorced please provide date and state of divorce. If widowed please provide date of death.
Only the bride and groom need to apply for the license.
No blood test or other medical information is required.
